Purpose
The main purpose of this position is the overall management of laboratories and to ensure that practicals offered to students conform to the highest quality standards and supports the teaching, research and community engagement objectives of the department.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant degree or diploma.
Computer literate.
Recommendations
A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Two years' related experience
A valid driver's license.
Duties and responsibilities
Instrument and Equipment Management.
Education and Training (Practicals).
Health and Safety Management.
Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Assist academics with research projects.
Undertake literature and database searches to increase efficiency in the laboratory
