Job Description

We are looking for an individual to join the dye house team to carry out laboratory dyeing's and testing as required in the dyehouse laboratory

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Make up dyestuff & chemicals solutions

Prepare 10g samples to be used for lab dips

Pipette from dyes solutions and chemical solutions as per recipe on lab dyeing sheet

Prepare stenter bulk swatches by identifying shade masters for colour approval

Label Lab dips correctly with the recipes on an identification card provided

Maintain good housekeeping in the lab

Maintain colour continuity charts by mounting approved bulk samples on the master shade file

Manage the lab inventory i.e., dyes, chemicals & lab apparatus

Assist in stock take process

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 qualification

Previous training and experience within a dye house.

Traceable working: 6 months (required)
