You will work closely with our team of scientists and technicians to carry out various laboratory tasks and assist in conducting experiments and tests. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare samples and specimens for testing according to established protocols - Perform routine laboratory procedures, such as pipetting, measuring, and mixing chemicals - Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments - Keep accurate records of all tests and experiments performed - Assist in conducting experiments and tests under the supervision of senior laboratory staff - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment - Order and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment - Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues in the laboratory - Communicate effectively with team members and provide support as needed - Stay updated on new laboratory techniques and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. chemistry, biology, or related discipline) - Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately - Proficient in using laboratory equipment and instruments - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Working Conditions: This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The laboratory operates Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required. The role may also involve standing for extended periods, and some lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies may be required.
