Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and high-quality work. Hires to be approved by National Operations Manager.
Inventory and ordering: Manage all aspects of inventory, including ordering food and supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste. Timeously complete stock taking accurately when required.
Food safety and quality: Enforce strict food safety and sanitation standards, ensure proper food storage, and maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation, and quality.
Cost control: Monitor and control food and labour costs to meet financial goals and budgets.
Menu development: Collaborate with the National Operations Manager and F&B Manager to develop and refine menu items, set prices, and ensure consistency.
Kitchen maintenance: Ensure the kitchen, including all equipment, is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Operations and communication: Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure smooth service and address any issues that arise.
