Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Citrus Production Management:
- Planting, pruning, fertilizing and harvesting
- Pest, weed and disease control
- Irrigation scheduling and monitoring
- General crop manipulation and quality control
A Personnel & Administration:
- Labour planning and team management
- Record-keeping and reporting
- Coordinating transport and accommodation
- Overseeing maintenance of orchards, equipment, and infrastructure
Financial Oversight:
- Cost control and improving productivity
Requirements:
- Post-matric qualification in Agriculture (Diploma/Degree)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in citrus production
- Sound knowledge of modern citrus farming practices
- Irrigation knowledge/experience is a strong advantage
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Computer literacy (especially Excel and MS Office)
