Job Description
Magaliesburg Area - Gauteng: This Cherry farm based in the mountains of Magaliesburg specialises in the production of cherry varieties seeks to add a Junior Production Manager to their team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/ Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture
- 3 years Orchard experience
- Computer literate
- Familiarity with GlobalGAP and Siza standards.
- Great time management skills
- Must be trustworthy, hardworking and lead by example.
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
- Being maintenance orientated
- Pruning, Irrigation, and fertigation
- Tree-Training
- Harvest Estimates
- Audit Assistance
- Record keeping
- Weed control & Fire Control
