Job Description


Award winning Lodge & Hotel Group based in Randburg is currently recruiting for a Junior Marketing Coordinator. The Junior Marketing Coordinator reports to the Senior Marketing Coordinator and is to assist with various coordination activities for the Marketing department. Key Focus Areas:

  • Supplier management and project coordination.
  • Internal stakeholder communication
  • Connect weekly with properties to assess and report on marketing activities at property level.
  • Build on knowledge and skills regularly.
  • Identify and communicate trends, locally, globally and amongst competitors.
  • Quality assurance of all marketing and guest touch points.
  • Department budget implementation and tracking.
  • Production Coordination
  • Digital landscape knowledge and coordination
  • Coordinate and drive CRM systems and direct marketing campaigns.
  • PR & Influencer Management
Requirements:
  • B.Com Degree in Marketing or Equivalent
  • Experience in the tourism & hospitality industry (advantageous).
  • 2 years experience in a similar role (advantageous).
  • Advanced computer literacy skills with knowledge of the digital landscape.
  • Drivers license and own transport (advantageous)
  • Strategic & analytical thinking with a solution seeking mindset and the confidence to question.
  • Communicative, able to take initiative and ownership.
  • Informed and curious.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Time management and deadline driven.
  • High attention to the finest details, while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Systems oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Able to operate as a member of a cohesive team, competent to converse in all areas of the marketing function.
  • Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication.
  • Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
  • Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, take initiative and use creative flair when required.
  • Committed and loyal, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Must work accurately under pressure.

  • Leadership skills with passion for development and skills transfer.
