The Opportunity

As a Junior Marketing Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team's efforts by executing a diverse range of tasks, contributing to effective project management, content creation, data analysis, and strategic collaboration. By mastering foundational marketing skills and embracing a dynamic learning environment, you will contribute to the team's success in achieving strategic objectives and maintaining a competitive edge in the ever-evolving marketplace.

You will join our growing marketing team and work closely with the sales, product and technical teams to support marketing activities that grow our business and showcase our culture. Electrum's marketing team is mandated to increase the visibility of the company and its products, attract new customers, engage with existing customers and showcase how great it is to work at Electrum.

Your Responsibilities

As a Junior Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

Work Trafficking Assistance

  • Scheduling of primary projects and tracking their status
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between stakeholders using email and tools like Asana and Slack
  • Ensure that projects move smoothly through different stages by reminding stakeholders of key dates or activities
  • Monitor team workload and flag risks to completion
Team Calendar Management
  • Maintain a centralised team calendar for campaigns, social media and other activities
  • Coordinate scheduling and timelines to ensure efficient execution
Library Management
  • Ensure latest collateral is correctly stored and socialised
  • Archive / replace old versions of collateral when newer versions are published
Digital Updates
  • Build email and landing pages in relevant martech tool
  • Make straightforward website and social media updates
  • Manage changes needed to our digital assets
  • Archive outdated digital assets
  • Ensure Style Guide, SEO and keyword library is updated
Social Media Strategy
  • Research industry trends and competitor activities to contribute to social media planning
  • Contribute to planning content themes and posting schedule
Brand promotion, SWAG and event coordination
  • Source and brand promotional items (SWAG) aligned with branding guidelines
  • Gather relevant event data to inform the marketing strategies
  • Coordinate event logistics and on-the-day activities
  • Collect feedback for continuous improvement
Basic Graphics Work
  • Design basic social media tile layouts for campaigns
  • Source relevant images for various marketing materials
  • Create visually appealing presentations and layouts
Data Management and Analysis
  • Pull analytic data and generate basic reports for campaign, social media and content performance
  • Extract insights from data to help in making informed marketing decisions
  • Work closely with sales to, manage contact data and conduct analysis to support targeted outreach
Content Creation and Campaign Management Assistance
  • Assist in creating engaging content for different platforms, where applicable
  • Participate in the ideation and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategy
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to adjustments as needed
Supplier Management
  • Coordinate with suppliers for various marketing activities and services
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality control of materials
  • Manage pricing and payment terms to optimise budget allocation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing
  • You must have interned or completed short term contracts for a minimum of 12 months within a marketing role
  • Experience with Google Suite and Google Analytics
  • Some exposure to marketing tools i.e. Hubspot, Mailchimp, Canva, URL shorteners, UTM builders, etc
