MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Agricultural diploma/degree advantageous Previous dairy experience and AI ability advantageous Computer literacy essential Previous experience with dairy and herd management programs advantageous Ability to speak Zulu Must have a drivers license Previous pasture management, irrigation management, animal health management experience highly advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of morning and afternoon milking Management of calves, dry cow, heifer, mating groups Management of treating sick animals Pasture and irrigation management Involved with maintenance To motivate and work well with staff to achieve goals as a team To problem-solve efficiently and effectively
