IT Systems and Support, Clinglobal South Africa
Clinglobal is an Animal Health Contract Research Organization and supports our global operations in various countries. We are currently recruiting for a IT Systems and Support Technician to join our growing Information Technology team at Clinglobal South Africa, Bloemfontein office. This position is well suited for an individual who pride themselves on consistent and accurate work delivery and prefers an organized and structured environment.
Primary Job Purpose
Provide support on establishment, management and maintenance of networks, systems, processes, and equipment related to all aspects of information technology.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the IT Manager in planning of systems and equipment resources.
• Plan and manage the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT systems, equipment, and software in accordance with company policies and standards.
• Ensure that IT best practices are implemented throughout the network and user base, promoting efficiency, security, and reliability.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to users on the operation of new software and computer equipment, fostering user adoption and productivity.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of the CCTV and Access Control systems, ensuring its optimal performance and security.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and security checks, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise.
• Address equipment shortages in a timely manner by ordering replacements and ensuring their prompt installation.
• Optimize the performance of local networks through effective design, configuration, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement appropriate remediation techniques and procedures, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to support requests raised ticketing platform, providing clear and concise feedback to stakeholders.
• Ensure that all systems undergo Computer System Validation (CSV) in accordance with relevant regulations and standards and maintain relevant documentation.
• Continuously strive to exceed expectations through proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to all stakeholders.

Qualification, Training and Experience Requirements

• Relevant IT certification/qualification and
• 2 years' relevant system administration and support experience, and
• Valid driver's license
