Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Head Office, Wynberg

Reports to: IT Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing business needs, analysing processes, and recommending data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities for business growth and operational enhancements.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related
3+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) (advantageous)
Basic understanding of Synapse(advantageous)
Functional and technical support experience on ERP systems, preferably in a Dynamics365 F&O, or similar and CRM systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, DevOps and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Knowledge and understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies are essential
Familiarity with project management principles
Key Responsibilities
Business analysis and process design:
Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders in order to understand the requirements
Co-ordinate information gathering workshops
Document functional requirements
Document/update existing business processes
Deliverables reflect a good understanding of processes
High level of user engagement and user acceptance
Quality and completeness of documentation
Compliance with processes and methodologies
System functionalities incorporated into the business requirements
Systems Analysis:
Liaison between business and IT service desk
Timeous resolution of ERP problems/queries
Provide relevant and regular feedback to the business
Escalation management (internal and external)
Trends of problems identified and reported and used to proactively prevent reoccurrence
First-line support for BI
Liaison with third parties (ERP and BI)
Understand the impact of requested changes
Testing & Training:
Provide input into/create testing scenarios
Ensure testing covers all possible business scenarios
Facilitate testing
Create/update training manuals
Accepted test methodology applied
Provide input into/create training material
Ensure training material includes all processes impacted by the implementation/changes made and is simple, understandable, and easy to read i.e. user friendly
Conduct relevant training sessions (where required)
Projects Involvement and CBI Initiatives:
Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements
Project documentation in accordance with requirements (scope, value, duration)
Relay final requirements to third parties (where applicable)
