Job Vacancy: Irrigation & Landscaping Foreman

Location: Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

We are a growing landscaping company seeking a reliable, hands-on Foreman to manage day-to-day operations on site for both landscaping and irrigation projects. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality work and ensuring site teams are productive, professional, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate landscaping and irrigation installation teams on site Read and interpret site plans, layout designs, and irrigation schematics Conduct daily site checks to ensure quality control and time management Operate and maintain tools, irrigation components, and small machinery Liaise with the project manager and clients as needed Ensure safe work practices and adherence to deadlines Manage site deliveries, team effectiveness, and basic reporting
Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience as a site foreman or team leader in landscaping and/or irrigation Strong understanding of manual and automated irrigation systems (e.g., Rain Bird, Hunter, etc.) Good plant knowledge and landscape installation experience Valid driver's license - essential Based in or willing to commute daily to the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town Ability to manage teams and communicate clearly with all stakeholders in a neat and professional manner Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
