Job Description
An established landscape company is looking for an experienced irrigation technician for residential irrigation and booster pump system projects.
Responsibilities include:
Install landscaping and irrigation projects on various sites.
Irrigation is installed or maintained, and able to check if all is kept in good working order.
Fault-finding when irrigation systems do not perform optimally is conducted, and corrective action is ensured.
Pro-active communication when things do not go according to plan or additional supplies are required on site.
Equipment is well-maintained and kept in clean working order.
MUST HAVES:
Minimum 5 years of experience in residential irrigation systems and booster pump systems. Drivers Licenses -advantageous Matric or Irrigation qualification or related would be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
Be able to plan, design, and implement new irrigation systems independently. Able to do fault-finding and the repair of existing systems. Thorough knowledge of irrigation controllers and programming thereof. Fluent English & Afrikaans, and excellent communication skills Able to build and maintain health working relationships. Healthy, fit & physically able to move around the site with ease and speed, and able to assist with loading and heavy lifting.

Honest, trustworthy, dependable & hard working. Able to efficiently and patiently communicate with residents & gardening staff. Proactive, taking initiative & identifying areas of concern independently. Good communication skills. Clear criminal record South African Citizen Neat, clean, tidy and presentable to clients at all times. Able to take initiative and suggest solutions to clients.

Pay: R12000,00 - R15000,00 per month
