Type: Full-time | On-site | Field-based workFuture Farms is a leader in climate-smart and sustainable agriculture, specializing in advanced hydroponic farming systems. We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Hydroponic Construction & Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to the success of our farm builds and includes hands-on construction, irrigation setup, and site coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble hydroponic tunnel structures (including steel/aluminum frames, shade netting, and plastic sheeting) - Welding skills neccissaryInstall and maintain irrigation systems, including drip lines, fertigation units, and tanksPerform basic electrical installations and troubleshooting for grow lights, pumps, and sensors (electrical experience is a strong advantage)Assist in transporting staff and equipment to various sites as needed (valid drivers license required)Support the overall build process on farms, including physical setup, site prep, and layout according to plansMaintain a safe and organized worksite and report progress or issues to managementCandidate RequirementsMinimum 35 years hands-on experience in construction or agricultural installation projectsProven experience with greenhouse or hydroponic tunnel buildsSkilled in PVC/HDPE piping and irrigation system layout and troubleshootingValid drivers license and ability to travel for site installationsBonus: Experience with electrical work (e.g., wiring pumps, LED systems, basic control panels)Comfortable working outdoors and with physical toolsSelf-starter with a practical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to lead small tasks independently
