Invoice Clerk xe2x80x93 Wetton xe2x80x93 Market Related Salary A wholesale & distribution company (transportation and storage of white & red meat, vegetables, dairy, seafood, and processed meat) Is seeking an Invoice Clerk to join their team. The invoice clerk is responsible for accurately processing invoices and ensuring timely payment processing. They must maintain meticulous records, monitor financial transactions, and support the finance department in maintaining efficient and effective invoice management processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience in the FMCG industry. Key Responsibilities and Functions:
- Taking instructions regarding the correct invoicing of customer orders
- Checking orders, invoicing customer orders correctly and promptly
- Liaison with customers phoning in
- Dealing with customer queries on time
- Assisting with customer quotes on time
- Keep filing up to date
- Good team player
- Matric
- Administrative qualification would be an advantage
- Strong administrative skills
- High work standards
- Good judgement
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Excellent customer skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Previous experience in the FMCG industry
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ethical behaviour and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
