Neighbourgood, a leading hospitality brand in South Africa, is looking for a dynamic and talented Interior Designer with excellent all-round skills to join our growing team. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and managing interior fit-outs from concept through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role will be to lead both the functional and aesthetic design for all Neighbourgood locations in line with the brand standards, including residential, office and retail environments. The role will suit someone with good project leadership skills, a proactive nature, high attention to detail, and a willingness to go the extra mile. This is a full-time on-site role located in Cape Town. Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field
• At least 3 xe2x80x93 5 years of experience in an Interior Design role, with demonstrated experience in fit-out projects
• Excellent knowledge of commercial Interior Design principles, materials, and finishes
• Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, Rendering and other design software
• Full proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Suite
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Role Responsibilities

• Managing the design process from start to finish
• Creating conceptual presentations to communicate design concepts
• Presenting design concepts to gain approval of preliminary plans
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fittings and objects to meet the brief
• Responsible for the highest level of Interior Design outcomes, completing projects with accuracy, within budget, and creativity while monitoring project performance
• Generate technical and construction, electrical, joinery drawings in a complete documentation package
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure that construction meets design specifications
• Facilitate project handover
