Senior Interior Designer

The ideal candidate must have:

• A degree or equivalent in Interior Design/Interior Architecture.
• At least 8-10 years post-graduate experience with a minimum of 5 years in the corporate design sector.
• Full proficiency using Revit, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Suite.
• A strong background in Interior Architecture, a high standard of technical ability and broad knowledge of materiality.
• A good knowledge of FF&E with knowledge of suppliers, product and specialist finishes.
• Experience working on all aspects of projects, through all stages of work, from concept to completion.
• An understanding of project programs and deadlines.
• Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
• Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written. They must be fluent in spoken and written English.

Tasks will include:

• Managing the design process from start to finish by overseeing contractors, scheduling meetings with clients and other team members, and communicating with clients
• Participating in client meetings to discuss design plans and gather feedback on preliminary designs
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fittings and objet to meet the clientxe2x80x99s design brief.
• Reviewing construction documents to ensure that specifications meet design requirements
• Coordinating with clients and contractors to ensure that construction meets design specifications
• Creating conceptual presentations to communicate design concepts to clients
• Presenting design concepts to clients in order to gain approval of preliminary plans
• Consulting with clients about their needs in order to create a design solution that meets their goals within their budget constraints
