Description
As the Indian Specialty Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining authentic Indian dishes while ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and taste. You will work closely with the culinary team to craft memorable dining experiences for guests, combining creativity, precision, and deep knowledge of Indian flavours.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present authentic Indian cuisine in line with luxury hotel standards.
  • Develop and maintain recipes, menus, and cooking techniques specific to Indian culinary traditions.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes served.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and skill development.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering of ingredients for the Indian kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and introduce new dishes while maintaining authenticity.
  • Monitor portion control, waste management, and food cost efficiency.
