As Human Resources Officer, you will report to the Head of HR and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle xe2x80x93 from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, training, and wellness.HR Operations & Administration

• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes
• Process payroll inputs
• Manage leave, absenteeism, and statutory compliance documentation

Performance & Culture

• Assist with staff appraisals and training coordination
• Support the implementation of wellness and employee engagement initiatives
• Provide day-to-day HR policy guidance and support to line managers
• Help manage workplace discipline and conflict resolution

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure alignment with South African labour laws and HR best practices
• Assist in monitoring adherence to HR budgets and controlling resource wastage
• Prepare HR reports and maintain records for audits and reviews

Qualifications and Experience:

• Formal qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or Organisational Psychology (essential)
• Degree in Human Resources or Organisational Psychology (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems
• Fluent in English
• Hotel/Hospitality experience essential
• Current experience as a Human Resources Officer for a hotel group/hospitality group

• Knowledge of South African Labour Legislation
