Human Resources Officer - AME Position Description The Barrick Africa & Middle East Team is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer - AME to join and grow our team.   • Support the Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Systems and Compensation and Benefit functions at a regional level.
  • Support the development and implementation of best service practices for the HR function, audit and risk management.
  • Support the advancement of a service culture which fosters rewarding relationships, promotes innovation and provides exceptional client service.
  • Support the provision of accurate and timeous submission of information for reporting at all levels and requirements (i.e. weekly/monthly reporting, Board reports and the annual integrated reporting requirements etc).
  • Support the improvement of relevant HR systems to support the Business (e.g. Element, Oracle Recruiting Cloud etc.) and the integration to other relevant functional areas.
  • Ensure system optimization in implementing and maintaining efficiency and data integrity for the region (i.e. HR Dashboard, operational reporting, etc).
  • Manage the administrative requirements for regional recruitment, staff mobility, talent management and associated activities.
  • Provide assistance to operations with all activities coordinated and managed at the regional level.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures consistently as it may apply to the region.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
  • Have at least 2-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a related role preferably in a multinational mining environment operating in Africa and the Middle East.
  • Have excellent computer skills (MS Office), HRIS / HRMS, Recruitment Applicant Tracking (ATS) system.
  • Have a good understanding of the employee life cycle and management thereof.
  • Have an understanding of multiple legislative frameworks impacting the labour governance of the organisation.
  • Have the ability to drive results in the delivery of HR services.
  • Have international mobility management experience / exposure (i.e. reward, tax, immigration within a multinational corporate or consulting experience).
  • Medically fit for the position.
