HR & Payroll Administrator

based in South Africa to support our HR and finance operations remotely.

The Role



You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our HR and payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently. This is a remote position working closely with our UK head office, supporting all aspects of HR administration and managing monthly payroll for our UK-based workforce.

Key Responsibilities



Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing (including timesheet collation, overtime, holiday, and statutory deductions) Prepare and issue employee contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation Maintain and update employee records, trackers, and HR systems Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes Ensure compliance with UK employment and payroll laws (full training provided) Respond to HR and payroll queries from staff Liaise with management, finance, and external payroll providers as needed Support other administrative and reporting tasks as required

Requirements



Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or payroll administration (UK payroll experience advantageous) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficient in MS Excel and cloud-based HR systems Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Reliable internet connection and quiet home-working environment

Working Hours



Monday to Friday

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM UK Time

(Equivalent to

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM South Africa Time

)

Annual Leave

: 15 working days per year, in line with South African employment standards

Salary & Benefits



R17,000 per month
