Who is the HR & Events Coordinator? You love multi-tasking, and organisation is your strong suit. You are meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on people-related matters.

What will you be doing?

This social butterfly needs to take care of a lot of things. But if we had to sum it up, the most important points are:

  • Office management of our beautiful Cape Town office (360 panoramic views of the Mother city!).
  • Organising and executing our Raccoon events. Think: Onboarding programme, annual celebration week, and special occasions around the office.
  • If a Raccoon needs to travel , they are going to come to you. You will master booking flights and accommodation together with our finance team.
  • You'll be the righthand (wo)man of our HR Director who operates out of Cape Town as well. Think of anything internal or external HR-admin related.
  • Assist with ad-hoc office or HR projects . Our founders spend 50/50 of their time between the Netherlands and South Africa, so when they're in town, you'd be their go-to.

About you: Our perfect fit has/is
  • Language requirements:
    • English
    • Any additional language is a plus.
  • Qualifications/Experience:
    • Higher qualification in Events or Hotel Management, Human Resources, Business Management or a similar field
    • Proven experience in HR, events or an office management role
    • Proven experience in managing internal disciplinary procedures
  • Skills/Attributes:
    • People-person!
    • Tech savvy with software (google sheets, documents, slides)
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and multitask
    • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organisational and planning skills in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment
    • An innovative approach and ability to suggest and implement improvements
    • This is not your regular 8-5 job, some duties during busy periods require assistance after hours and over weekends Innovative and a go-getter
