Marketing and Events Coordinator - StellenboschReference: 8214 SJConsultant: Sone Johnson:Excellent organisational and communication skills and operates with integrity. The job holder should be creative and resourceful to ensure the programs are engaging and reach the public effectivelyExcellent communication and organisational skills, as well as efficiency and politeness.Assist in coordinating the marketing of the Rupert Museum brand and develop marketing strategy with the management teamDirectly manage the promotion of Museum Saturdays, Holiday School Programmes, and other related public programmesPromote event spaces to generate revenue for public programming; this includes assisting with promotions of the Museum Cafxc3xa9, Library, MakerStudio, and Event Lawn.Manage bookings, legal contracts, and payments of external parties using the Rupert Museum facilityDevelop and place newspaper, magazine, and online ads and subscribed listings timeously to promote scheduled museum programming and eventsManage membership database; produce and circulate newsletters monthly, send notices on promotions and monthly programManage website, keep social media communication up to date, and post regularly on museum profilesWork with management to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional techniques to grow the Rupert Museum brand in accordance with the broader visionAssist in networking with key strategic partners to ensure dynamic marketing and public programmingAssist in the development of educational public programs and services based on customer needs and interestInitiate and manage stock image photography and content (i.e. timeously with new Cafxc3xa9 menu/offering, exhibition rotations, public programs, and events)Initiate product development for museum merchandiseManage relevant related contacts and projects as requiredQualifications:Matric Certificate3 yrs.
