Housekeeping Manager

Job Description
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness of all guest units at Fluent Serviced Apartments. This role ensures that housekeeping standards are consistently met, inventory is managed efficiently, and staff are trained to deliver premium service aligned with Fluent's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Room Operations
Allocate daily and rotational room cleaning schedules, including
every-second-day service cycles
Conduct regularroom inspections
to ensure standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory are upheld Verify readiness of rooms for guest and owner arrivals, with attention tocutlery, crockery, and presentation
Linen & Inventory Management
Oversee
linen rotation, usage, and returns
Conductweekly stock takes
of linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies Placestock orders
in line with operational needs andpar level requirements
Standards & Compliance
Ensure all rooms meet Fluent's standards for
cleanliness, maintenance, and guest presentation
Identify and report maintenance issues promptly Enforce SOPs and hygiene protocols across the housekeeping teamStaff Leadership & Training
Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver consistent service Conduct
staff training sessions
on SOPs, guest service, and operational updates Provide one-on-one coaching and performance feedback as neededRequirements
Proven experience in housekeeping management within hospitality or serviced apartments Strong organizational and leadership skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to manage inventory and ordering systems Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R10000,00 - R12000,00 per month
