Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant - Hospitality Property - Centurion
Our client, a hospitality property based in Pretoria, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role is best suited to candidates living in or near Centurion, who are comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.
Description
The successful candidate will support daily housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and laundry facilities are maintained to a high standard. Laundry duties include sorting, washing, drying, ironing and folding items, maintaining accurate laundry records, following care labels, pre-treating stains, operating laundry machinery, and ensuring the laundry area remains clean and organised at all times.
Housekeeping responsibilities include cleaning and sanitising bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas; changing linen and towels; making beds; cleaning floors, windows, surfaces and furniture; removing refuse; and completing final room checks according to management specifications. The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness and the ability to work independently while following prescribed checklists and procedures.
This position requires flexibility, as shifts may include weekends, public holidays and Sundays, depending on operational needs.
Package

• Salary: R6,000 - R8,000 per month, depending on experience
• Contract: 6 months

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Own cell phone and reliable transport
• Ability to read and write in English
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 10kg unaided
• Hospitality experience advantageous but not essential
• Honest, punctual, dependable and detail-oriented
• Willing to work a 6-day roster including weekends and public holidays
