About the Internship
They are looking for an enthusiastic graduate with a diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, marketing, or related field, to assist in the tasting room and hospitality operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about wine, tourism, and customer service, eager to learn the inner workings of a premium wine destination.
Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and deliver engaging, informative tasting experiences.
• Support daily tasting room operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Assist with wine sales, merchandise, and wine club sign-ups.
• Help manage bookings, group tastings, and special events.
• Maintain a clean, inviting environment and uphold service standards.
• Provide support with stock control and liaise with the cellar team.
• Contribute to social media engagement and guest data collection (POPIA compliant).

Requirements

• South African citizen, under 30 years old.
• Preference given to candidates from formerly disadvantaged groups.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, marketing, or related field.
• Previous tasting room or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays..

Duration & Location

• Internship based near Bredasdorp, Western Cape.
• Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday, with occasional Sundays/public holidays.

Start Date: As soon as possible; Beginning January 2026.
