To develop Insurance Business Unit analytics strategies and framework(s) aligned to Standard Bank Group data and business strategies.

To be responsible for the time, cost and quality of projects delivered by the team, according to the model risk policy and deployed into operational processes.

To drive and enable data led initiatives and value

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Mathematical Science
Type of Qualification: Masters Degree
Field of Study: Mathematical Science

Other Preferred Qualifications, certifications or professional memberships

• Natural Science, Computer Science, Engineering or Accounting

Experience Required
Technology-:

5-7 years - Fluency in data analysis tools, techniques, and visualisations (for e.g. Advanced Excel, Looker, Tableau, etc).
Proven experience in combining complex data signals and campaign results into actionable insights and recommendations.
Proficiency in performing statistical analysis in SAS/R/Python for purposes of guiding and overseeing Business Analytics work.

Finance & Value Management -:

5- 7 years -Proven track record for success in leading advanced analytics teams and building out best-in-class capabilities.

Data & Analytics -:

8-10 years - Proven track record for success in leading advanced analytics teams and building out best-in-class capabilities. Experience creating business value from data analysis.
