Job Description

As Head Chef , you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across all dining experiences.



Our client is known for its refined menus that showcase fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients, and you will be instrumental in maintaining and elevating these culinary standards.



Your responsibilities will include menu development, food preparation, cost and stock control, supplier coordination, and compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.



You will lead, coach, and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a professional and cohesive environment. Strong collaboration with front-of-house and management teams is essential to ensure seamless service and memorable guest experiences.



This role demands a blend of culinary creativity, operational discipline, and leadership excellence to thrive in a dynamic boutique hospitality setting.



Salary:

R30,000 pm



Start date:

ASAP



Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in luxury hotels, boutique properties, or high-end restaurants



Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills



Sound knowledge of food costing, budgeting, and stock management



Passion for seasonal, fresh, and locally inspired cuisine



Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment



Relevant culinary qualification preferred



Between 3 - 5 Years
