Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the guest house, including reservations, check-ins and guest relations.
Oversee housekeeping, maintenance and service standards to ensure a welcoming and well-maintained environment.
Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints with professionalism and warmth.
Manage budgets, supplier relationships and stock control.
Supervise and support staff to maintain high service standards.
Implement marketing and social media initiatives to attract and retain guests.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and hospitality regulations.
Requirements
Minimum of
3 years' experience
in hospitality management, ideally in a guest house, boutique hotel or lodge.
Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Computer literacy, including booking systems and social media management.
Must be
based in the Swartland area
or nearby (Riebeek Kasteel, Malmesbury, Wellington or surrounds).
Reliable transport and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
