Introduction:
Are you a seasoned internal control expert ready to lead governance and operational excellence at group level?
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Group Internal Control Manager to head up organisation-wide control initiatives and partner with executive leadership to embed a strong, future-fit control culture. This pivotal role is based at their Head Office in vibrant Melrose Arch.
You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing internal control systems to protect company assets, ensure financial and operational integrity, and maintain regulatory compliance. This includes evaluating existing controls, identifying weaknesses, recommending improvements, and driving risk management initiatives in collaboration with senior management, audit & risk committees, and external stakeholders.
What you'll do

• Champion and refine enterprise-wide internal control framework
• Assess and strengthen controls, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance
• Lead risk assessments and drive remediation of control weaknesses
• Collaborate with Audit, Risk, Finance and Ops to align on control priorities
• Deliver impactful reporting to senior leadership and the audit committee
• Stay on the pulse of regulatory changes and best practices

What you'll bring to the table

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or similar
• 5-10 years' experience in audit, internal control, or risk management
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity
• CA(SA), CPA, CIMA, or IIA accreditation preferred
• Strong process optimisation, data analytics and reporting skills
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement ability
• Proven experience in a complex, fast-paced environment-ideally manufacturing

Salary: R1.2M - R1.4M CTC, with room to negotiate for top-tier talent.
