is responsible and accountable for delivering strategic, relevant and engaging communications that support the Sun International Group's business and people agenda. This includes developing and executing internal communication plans, creating tailored content to connect with a diverse workforce and collaborating with key departments such as Marketing and Investor Relations to embed the company's strategy and values. The role requires a strong grasp of workforce sentiment, cultural awareness and a focus on inclusion to ensure communications resonate across all levels and remain aligned with the evolving needs of the business.
Key Performance Outcomes
Partner with leadership and Business Unit management to understand and cascade key business and people strategies across the organisation
Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans, including detailed workplans to support implementation at both Group and unit level
Create and manage tailored content across multiple channels (newsletters, intranet, email, announcements etc) to engage diverse audiences effectively
Select and oversee communication channels and internal collateral (videos, branding, digital tools) to support the Employer Brand and ensure message reach
Coordinate content delivery and communication efforts with internal stakeholders at Group and unit levels
Manage communication resources, including budgets and external suppliers, to ensure efficient execution
Monitor, measure and report on the impact and effectiveness of communication initiatives using data and feedback
Collaborate closely with HR, leadership and other stakeholders to align communication with broader business goals and company culture
Lead internal communication during organisational changes and crisis situations, ensuring clarity, accuracy and engagement
Support the development of leadership communications by preparing high-quality speeches, presentations and key messaging for initiatives and events
Support and reinforce company culture through consistent, values-driven communication
Leverage strategic storytelling across integrated omni-channel platforms to drive meaningful engagement and alignment with organisational goals
