Job Description

Your duties will include but won't be limited to:
Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for all group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Manage and oversee inter-company reconciliations, loans, and transactions to ensure alignment across subsidiaries
Supervise monthly payroll processes across the group, ensuring consistency and accuracy
Oversee payments to suppliers and manage creditor accounts at the group level
Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and ensure all entries are accurately reflected in the group ledger
Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts across multiple entities and perform regular bank reconciliations
Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in all group financial records
Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory returns and manage all tax-related matters in line with South African and Namibian regulations
Maintain compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and relevant legislation across all jurisdictions within the group
Produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports for group management and stakeholders
Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management to support operational needs and group liquidity
Assist in the development and management of the group's annual budget and financial planning processes
Manage the group's asset register, ensuring accurate tracking and depreciation of fixed assets
Coordinate with auditors during the year-end financial audit and ensure all group entities comply with audit requirements
Respond to complex financial queries and provide detailed ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Skills & Experience:
Completed degree and articles
CA(SA) beneficial
Full function group accounting function experience
Experience managing multiple entity finances and inter-company functions
Asset Management experience
Up to date knowledge of accounting and audit legislation
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
CA(SA) beneficial
