Our client is seeking a dedicated Griller who can handle a busy pass, maintain consistency and quality, and work effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar restaurant environment, understand proper cooking techniques, and be able to work cleanly, safely, and efficiently at all times.
This role requires someone who can communicate well, follow instructions, and maintain high standards under pressure. You will be responsible for grilling, prepping, station management, and supporting the broader kitchen team where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and grill menu items to company standards
Ensure consistent portioning, presentation, and cooking quality
Set up, maintain, and clean the grill station
Follow proper hygiene and safety procedures at all times
Assist with prep work and support the kitchen team during peak periods
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and FOH when required
Ensure stock rotation, freshness, and minimal wastage
Work efficiently during busy service windows while maintaining quality
Follow company SOPs and maintain a high standard of professionalism
Remuneration
R5,000 - R6,000 per month

Live-out position -- must be able to commute reliably to Sea Point
Availability for shifts, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods
