Description
The Sous Chef will assist in food preparation, menu execution, kitchen hygiene, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and a love for crafting quality dishes under pressure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure food preparation standards.
  • Maintain quality control and portion consistency.
  • Monitor stock, wastage, and hygiene standards.
  • Support menu development and daily specials.
  • Ensure efficient service during peak hours
Salary: R7 000 - R8 000 per month
Minimum Requirements
  • 2-4 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety.
  • Ability to lead by example and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Culinary qualification advantageous but not essential.
