Our client, a contemporary and vibrant restaurant in Sea Point, Cape Town is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead a dynamic service team and ensure a world-class guest experience.
Description
The Front of House Manager will oversee daily service operations, staff management, and guest relations. This role calls for a confident, service-driven individual who can inspire a team, handle busy service periods, and maintain the highest hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house operations.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and handle feedback.
- Train, mentor, and motivate service staff.
- Manage reservations, seating plans, and shift schedules.
- Conduct cash-ups and ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a FOH or restaurant management role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with POS systems and administrative duties.
- Presentable, professional, and service-oriented.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
