Our client, a leading luxury estate in Stellenbosch, is seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Worker to support day-to-day property upkeep. This role is suited to a hands-on individual with a strong technical background and pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
Description
The role involves general repairs, preventative maintenance, and prompt response to maintenance issues to ensure guest comfort and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance across the estate
• Carry out repairs including plumbing, carpentry, welding, painting, and basic building work
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Respond promptly to maintenance call-outs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Proven maintenance experience in a hotel, estate, or similar environment
• Relevant trade qualification or experience advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or standby
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Valid driver's licence advantageous
