Custodian Pastry Bar by Hoghouse

Custodian is the pastry-bar extension of our Cafe and Brewery, focused on beautifully made pastries and toasted sandwiches, served with care in warm neighbourhood spaces.

Work & Interview Location:

Custodian Pastry Bar, 7 Park Rd, Longkloof Precinct ( adjacent to Cafe Sofi )

HQ & Bakery:

Ndabeni (near Merrypak & Pinelands)

We're looking for a high-energy, people-loving FOH All-Rounder to join our Pastry Bar team. This is a hands-on role covering barista, cashier, and floor service -- ideal for someone keen to learn and grow in a fast-paced but well-run hospitality environment.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in an upmarket hospitality setting Friendly, professional, and guest-focused Confident communicator with a positive energy Able to multitask and stay organised under pressure Neatly presented and reliable Valid work permit (if applicable)

Advantageous Skills

Barista or bartender experience POS and cashier skills Basic stock-taking knowledge

Full-time (Temp to Perm)

Contract:

12 months

Rate:

Basic based on experience, plus gratuity

Shifts:

Flexible Day and early evening (up to 8pm)
