Job Description
Boeretroos Coffee Shop is looking for a reliable, hands-on Kitchen All-Rounder / Cook to join our busy, friendly kitchen.
We serve farm-style breakfasts, burgers, toasties and light meals. If you can cook eggs, run a fryer and keep a kitchen clean, we want to meet you.Responsibilities
Prepare daily ingredients and perform kitchen prep Cook
breakfasts
(eggs, bacon, omelets, toast, etc.) Cookburgers
, fries, toasties and light meals Operate grill, flat-top and fryer Maintainexcellent kitchen hygiene & food-safety standards
Keep workstation clean and organized Assist with stock rotation and kitchen closing Work calmly during busy times Support front-of-house when needed (teamwork environmentRequirements
Minimum
1 year experience
in a restaurant, cafe, takeaway, food truck or similar kitchen Must be able to cook basic items with confidence: eggs, bacon, chips, burgers Understanding ofkitchen hygiene & food safety
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Able to workweekends and mornings
Must live close to Joostenbergvlakte / Kraaifontein / Brackenfell or have own transport Team player -- positive attitude, no dramaHow to Apply
