Fleet Manager (Junior) - Kraaifontein, Cape TownFleet Manager, 28 xe2x80x93 35 K per month, PhilippiNational Logistics Enterprise is seeking energetic Fleet Manager to effectively manage and oversee the day to day (also nightshift) operations of the depot/plant.This role involves the short term planning and scheduling of daily operations. This extends from the productivity of drivers and their vehicles; along with the overall maintenance of vehicles; solving queries etc in order to deliver exceptional service within clientsxe2x80x99 SLA.Duties:Ensure all invoices and POxe2x80x99s are signed off and submitted to Finance.Follow up on outstanding money;Insurance claims, traffic fines, vehicle maintenance;Management of driver hours;Budget and Resource Planning xe2x80x93 Use relevant data and analysis to give input into budget preparation for the division/depot;Cultivate objective working relationships with variety of stakeholders (e.g. HR team, IT, Clients)Daily client interactions on the frontline. Solve challenges and queries to reduce complaints.Oversee and manage own fleet of vehiclesSchedule maintenanceWeekly checksServicesBreakdowns (where applicable)Licensing of vehiclesManage diesel consumptionLoad trips onto in-house applicationManage and schedule driversxe2x80x99 working hoursRoute planningOversee successful loading of goods at clients with all relevant paperworkPlanning and scheduling the overs (old order incomplete from last loading cycle with new orders received.Manage the wash bayPrepare and submit weekly operational statsPrepare and submit weekly financial flash to clientsPrepare, analyse and submit monthly operational statsPeople Management Plan and manage performance, skills development and team motivation.Address employeexe2x80x99s issues or grievances Management of drivers performanceTeamwork Support - effective teamwork within depot/branch.Requirements:Matric;Advances studies (Tertiary Diploma/ Degree) will be advantageous;Computer Literacy (MS Office, Outlook);Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a road transportation environment will be advantageous;Communication ability in English and Afrikaans is preferableJob Type: Full-timeSalary: R28,000.00 - R35,000.00 per monthLanguage:Afrikaans and English (Required)
