Minetec Sales is seeking a dedicated and proactive
Fleet Device Monitoring and Support Administrator
to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the functionality and connectivity of over 400 devices installed on mining and industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance, reporting on offline devices and SIM card issues, performing device health checks, and ensuring that equipment is ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the Minetec system interface to ensure equipment is online and functioning properly.
Identify and report offline devices to the relevant teams.
Conduct device health checks and basic troubleshooting.
Check SIM card status (activity, data, and airtime availability).
Report and escalate SIM card and device issues.
Maintain and update the equipment/device tracking list accurately.
Prepare and configure devices for deployment, including linking devices and SIM cards to designated machines and sites.
Support the sales and technical teams with system-related information and readiness updates.
Requirements:
Grade 12 (a technical qualification or IT-related certification will be advantageous).
Computer literate and comfortable working with monitoring and tracking software.
Familiarity with SIM card functionality, data usage, and telematics is preferred.
Ability to analyse and interpret data from monitoring systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
