:
An established accounting and auditing firm is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join their team. This is a permanent, on-site (8am - 4pm) role, with flexibility, supporting the firms day-to-day administrative and client service operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing general office functions, handling reception duties, processing tax assessments, following up on SARS queries, and providing administrative assistance to a partner.
Key Responsibilities:
General office administration and front-desk reception duties
Processing of tax assessments and liaising with SARS on client queries
Drafting and sending follow-up emails and letters on behalf of a partner
Maintaining organised client records and filing systems
Providing overall administrative support to the firms team
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Experience in or exposure to an accounting/auditing environment is advantageous
Familiarity with tax processes and SARS interactions is beneficial
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
