Job Description

Purpose of the job:

To manage and oversee the performance of our sales and merchandising agency,

ensuring optimal distribution, visibility, and execution of our products across key

retail and wholesale channels. This role will also be responsible for planning,

coordinating, and monitoring promotional activity at key wholesalers in the coastal

regions, ensuring alignment with brand and sales objectives.

Job Specifications and Experience

? Proven experience in sales operations, trade marketing, or field sales

management, preferably within FMCG.

? Strong leadership and relationship management skills, with experience

managing third-party agencies.

? Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.

? Ability to work independently and travel frequently, particularly within coastal

regions.

? Strong understanding of wholesale and retail dynamics.

Key Competencies

:

? Manage the relationship with the external sales and merchandising agency,

including performance tracking and communication.

? Ensure consistent execution of distribution and merchandising standards

across all regions, with a focus on product availability, shelf health, stock

rotation and promotional compliance.

? Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to execute trade marketing

initiatives and seasonal campaigns.

? Develop and implement regional promotional plans at key wholesalers in the

coastal regions as well as drive sales volume orders

? Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to inform sales and marketing

strategies.

? Track, analyse, and report on agency performance, sales uplift during

promotions, and return on investment for trade activity.

? Provide regular feedback and updates to internal stakeholders on field

execution and market conditions.

? Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and promotional

guidelines at store level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R37000,00 - R42000,00 per month
