Job Description
Job Summary A well-established safari lodge set within a malaria-free Big 5 game reserve, offering guests authentic wildlife experiences and high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate is a qualified, professional field guide who is safety-conscious, passionate about conservation and wildlife, and committed to delivering informative, engaging, and memorable game drive experiences for guests.
Core Criteria:
- Minimum Level 1/NQF2 qualified Guide
- Up-to-date ARH, Back up trails/Apprentice trails, First Aid, DEAT/NDT registered, PDP
- SAPS competency certificate
- PFTC for manually loaded rifle + for business purposes
- Hardworking & motivated to continue learning/bettering their qualifications
- Must be able to take initiative
- Practice high standards of hygiene
- Be energetic & able to work in a team
Salary from R7,5kpm negotiable, depending on experience
Uniform, 2 meals a day, accommodation, further training available at no cost to guide
