Responsible for arranging shipments, preparing and confirming order approval, handling pricing information, and releasing invoices for PFG Building Glass.
Main Objective:
Process export inquiries, quotations, and orders in accordance with SAP and export procedures accurately and efficiently.
Liaise and provide service excellence to international and internal customers.
Ensure administration complies with export procedures and legislation.
Coordinate between internal and external customers to ensure timely service.
Drive continuous improvement in the export process to enhance profitability and support sales volumes.
Maintain export process integrity through proactive capacity and constraint monitoring.
Maintain control and storage of documentation. Address all customer complaints.
Ensure delivery deadlines are met by coordinating with service providers.
Monitor unpaid accounts to eliminate trading risk and ensure credit management procedures are followed.
Critical Job Requirements:Qualification(s):
Relevant tertiary qualification in export, sales, or commercial fields will be an advantage.
Knowledge:
Excellent understanding of Export Policies and Procedures
Knowledge of relevant Export Legislation
Accounting knowledge
Working knowledge of the glass industry

Excellent attention to detail
Systematic and organized approach to problem solving
Experience:
Minimum 3 years customer service experience in an export environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of export process including documentation, letters of credit, foreign exchange and banking, accounting, marine insurance and insurers, forwarding agents, and international banking regulations and procedures.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
