About the Position
We are seeking a diligent, organised and professional
Estate Administration Assistant
to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the administration of deceased estates, trusts, and related estate matters. This role requires strong administrative and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity when handling confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the administration of deceased estates from reporting to finalisation.
Drafting and preparing estate documents, correspondence and liquidation & distribution accounts.
Liaising with clients, heirs, financial institutions, and the Master's Office.
Maintaining accurate estate files and records.
Monitoring deadlines and progress on all estate matters.
Providing general administrative and office support to the estate department.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in estate administration
Strong knowledge of the Administration of Estates Act and related legal procedures
Conveyancing/paralegal experience preferred but not essential
Excellent organizational, communication, and client liaison skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
