Job Summary To drive to the effective implementation of the companyxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s transformation strategy in line withxc3x82 agreed scorecard requirements To drive the effective implementation of the companyxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s ER strategy to ensure sound workingxc3x82 relationships throughout the organisation Qualification Bachelors degree (Legal, Human Resources, Industrial relations,xc3x82 Labour Relations)xc3x82 Experience 3-5 yearsxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2 HR experience, with focus on Transformationxc3x82 and Employee Relations strategy implementation Working knowledge of Employee Relations application (design andxc3x82 development methodologies and principles)xc3x82 Working knowledge of HC Transformation application (design andxc3x82 development methodologies and principles) Working knowledge of Transformation and ER performance andxc3x82 risk mitigation strategies Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting the HC function Knowledge of talent management strategies Business Transformation Strategy and Agenda xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To implement of the transformation strategy and all related projects for the company. (Includes continuous improvement and sustainability of transformation and diversity practices)xc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Support the development and implementation of the transformation strategy and all related projects for the company xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Understand the role of transformation in businessxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Provide guidance and direction on all initiatives relating to transformationxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Identify continuous improvement and sustainability of transformation and diversity practices.xc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Ensure compilation and timeous submission of relevant reportsxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Ensure that all compliance related issues within the businesses are pro-actively managed xc3x82 Development and Implementation of Sound Employee Relations Strategy xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To ensure the effective implementation of the organisations Employee Relations (ER) strategy across the company. (Includesxc3x82 consultation, advice, adherence to statutory and best practice procedures and policies) xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Support the development and implementation of the organisations Employee Relations strategic direction across the companyxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Manage a sound employee relations platformxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Conduct research to implement best ER practices xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Advise management and employees on ER processesxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Update the organisation's ER Policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the legislative changesxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Facilitate regular ER climate surveys to ensure proactive management of the ER functionxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Effective and efficient implementation of ER processesxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Manage external dispute resolution processes xc3x82 Transformation Stakeholder Management xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To establish and maintain effective relations, engage, consult and involve stakeholders (HoDs, forums, committees,xc3x82 relevant external parties) in all delivery elements of the transformation scorecard to ensure achievement of goals and objectives as well as consistency and uniformity in the execution of their roles and responsibilities.xc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Engage, consult and involve Executives in all delivery elements of the transformation scorecard to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.xc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Oversee all activities of stakeholders (forums, committees, etc.) driving the business transformation strategy and ensure consistency and uniformity in the execution of their roles and responsibilities.xc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Develop and conduct presentations to the Company's management and staff on all initiatives relating to Transformation and ER Managementxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Build and maintain relationships with relevant external parties.xc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Liaise with the Department of Labour and other statutory and non-statutory bodies on behalf of the company.xc3x82 Target Setting, Measurement and Reportingxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To identify and apply measurement tools for monitoring and reporting on the effective achievement of the transformationxc3x82 agenda and objectives. (Includes understanding of measuring tools to enable required change of behaviour within the business associated with changing targets / requirements) xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To report on Transformation and ER status, trends / performance and recommend mitigants in respect of Transformationxc3x82 and ER risks xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Understand measuring tools to enable required change of behaviour within the businessxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Understand and set business targets to drive and enable the transformation agendaxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Compile risk reportsxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Compile monthly Transformation and ER reports xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To analyse EE status statistics and produce reports based thereon for the EE forum xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 In close consultation with the Executives, manage the EE headcount targets (race, gender andxc3x82 disability) by setting and monitoring ratios for recruitment, promotions, training and development. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Ensure that the Company transformation function meets the principles of sound Corporate Governance xc3x82 Financial Managementxc3x82 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 To maintain costs within agreed budget. xc3x82
