Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and update detailed 2D and 3D electrical and instrumentation drawings using MicroStation CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers to prepare accurate layouts and schematics in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure all designs and drawings are compliant with South African regulations and SANS standards.
Support project documentation by maintaining revision records, generating bills of materials, and assisting in documentation control.
Incorporate design feedback and perform quality assurance checks to ensure drawings meet specifications and industry standards.

Experience & Qualifications

Diploma in Draughting, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a closely related field.
3-5 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation draughting within engineering or industrial environments.
Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
CAD or draughting certifications are advantageous.
Experience or certification with Bentley Systems: MicroStation (Electrical) will be highly regarded.
