Duty ManagerPOSITION: PermanentCOMMENCEMENT: ASAPPURPOSE OF POSITION:The Duty Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the guest experience from arrival to departure is seamless in accordance with all policies and procedures set.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/certificate in Hospitality Industry/Tourism
• Preferably 2 -3 years previous experience working at the front desk
• Passionate about the hospitality industry
• Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments and across cultures and religions
• Able to deal with very distinguished clientele
• Flexible to work night shifts
• Own transport with valid driverxe2x80x99s license (prefered)
• Basic computer skills (word, excel, outlook)
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays, weekends)
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) fluent in English

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Ensure the highest standards are kept in guest service, cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Monitors Guest Relations employees to make sure all guests receive prompt and personal recognition.
• Oversee all Guest Relations processes.
• Assist in employee relations processe.s
• Able to carry out and complete all duties responsible for a Guest Relations Officer and Night Auditor.
• Able to compile the roster, roster management.
• Set up and create training for all new recruited Guest Relations Officers.
• Ensure that all guest queries are taken and processed in a speedy and efficient manner.
• Ensures that all Guest Relations Officers adhere to the established policies and procedures of the company.
• Ensure attention to detail in all tasks given.
• Ensure all Guest Relations Officers are trained on all aspects of company.
