Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Despatch Clerk based in Pinetown
Requirements:
- Matric
- A qualification and certificate would be advantageous.
- Must have 3+ years relevant experience in the manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Verify that the finished item is properly labelled and packaged.
- Ensure that the proper delivery protocol is followed.
- Verify that delivery schedules are in the proper order.
- Check the forklift and delivery vehicles every day.
- Check that all security procedures are followed before loading trucks.
- Verify that every finished pallet is properly and completely wrapped.
- Comply with all PPE regulations when inside the warehouse.
- Ensure that excellent housekeeping standards are established and upheld.
- Ensure that safe stacking practices are upheld.
- Client interactions
- Supplier interactions
- High Problem solving skills
