to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support to internal users (Windows/macOS).
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues across workstations, printers, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
Respond to support requests via ticketing system, phone, or in person.
Perform user account management (Active Directory, O365, etc.).
Set up and support video conferencing tools and meeting room systems.
Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation.
Collaborate with other IT team members for escalated issues.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes (device setup, access provisioning).
Requirements:
Proven experience in desktop or IT support (2-3 years minimum).
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Office, and common desktop applications.
Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing systems.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R1100,00 - R1260,00 per day
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
